Independence Kennel occasionally has puppies available to homes. It is our desire to place puppies in responsible homes. When we are expecting a litter, a deposit can be made for a puppy. Deposits are only excepted  after the litter is here and you have chosen which pup you desire. However, as the pups age I will do ongoing evaluations and decide if the chosen pup is right for its chosing owner. You must make it clear to me what your intentions are for your aussie.Different Aussies will produce different temperments and desires. It is extremely important that we work together on your choice and what you are looking for. I have working and show lines...not every pup will be the quality to show. Therefore I will have pets available in some litters.  Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are $250.

Prices on puppies will vary. Show and pet quality puppies will be determined as the pups age. Pet quality puppies will be sold on a neuter/spay agreement. It is healthier for the puppies as they age to be neutered/spayed. If you do not intend to show or breed, you do not need an intact pet.

Show quaility puppies will not guarantee you a "Show Dog". Not all show quality puppies will show, or grow to enjoy the show ring. Many factors go into bringing up a show dog. Independence Kennel does not guarantee your puppy will gain titles. That is soley the responsibility of the new owners. We do however pick out the puppies we believe "COULD" be shown. Pricing will vary and will be displayed with the puppy on the puppy page. We will offer incentives for titles won. That will be determined in the contract between Independence Kennel and the new owner. I also offer incentives for working titles. For example, if you WTCH a dog or bitch you recieve back the purchase price of your dog. Isn't that fantastic!! I am fully aware of the time and effort and cost it takes to title a dog...So I would like to make this offer for awhile while my dogs are just getting out there. After the first 5 WTCH's this offer will no longer be available. As far as obtaining conformation titles, that will be discussed with each individual person that is interested.

Independence Kennel requires you to use Sunny J in your aussies registered name. It is to go in the beginning of every registered dog/bitch, AKC and ASCA.

You can expect to pay $800 to $1200 for an Independence puppy. If shipping is required, an extra $250-$275 will be applied. This may vary according to airline used. This will also cover the cost of crate and health certificate. This cost is only for an 8 -10 week pup. Shipping costs are greater for heavier pups as they age. Full payment for your puppy must be paid in full by pups 7th week of life, if this puppy has previously been reserved.

If for any reason you cannot keep your Independence puppy or dog. You are required to contact us first before placing your pet with anyone. I want to know where my dogs are. I DO NOT want them in shelters or with owners who do not wish to care for them any longer. I will do my best to help with placement or take it back here.

You are required to have the dog vet checked within 3 days of recieving your pet. This assures Independence Kennel that the puppy arrived safely and healthy.

Independence Kennel will guarantee your dog against hereditary hip dysplasia for 2 1/2 years. THIS guarantee is only valid if the dog/bitch has NOT bred.

We want you to be happy with your choice of buying an Aussie from us. We love our dogs and have a great time with them! Thank you for your interest!!

Please keep in mind, Aussies are not for everyone, We expect you to educate yourself with the breed BEFORE purchasing one. Although Aussies are Extremely versitile and make wonderful family pets as well as working, agility, rally, obedience and of course conformation dogs.....they may not fit your understanding of what this breeds needs are...go to the links page and click on ASCA..This site will help you see if an Aussie is what you are looking for!!!
